По словам Клауса Фролиха, главы отдела компактных и среднеразмерных моделей BMW, баварский автопроизводитель не видит смысла в разработке девятиступенчатых коробок передач, чем сейчас заняты такие крупные компании, как Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes и Cadillac.
